Smart and Skilled

Smart and Skilled - Connecting people to skills, jobs and careers.

Smart and Skilled is a NSW Government reform aimed at helping people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and further their careers.

Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with:

  • an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III
  • government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.

Under Smart and Skilled, people in NSW can choose from hundreds of government-subsidised qualifications from a range of training providers. To find out more about which courses are subsidised under Smart and Skilled, download the NSW Skills List
